Leonardo Rodrigues, a 10-year-old member of the AMT team from Ferraz de Vasconcelos, won the gold medal in the children’s division up to 30 kg at the Brazil Taekwondo Cup. The competition was held in Fortaleza and concluded on Sunday, November 1.
Two other athletes from Ferraz de Vasconcelos also took part. Thamiris Guerra placed ninth in the girls’ youth division up to 52 kg, while Guilherme Andrade, competing in the youth division up to 55 kg, was eliminated in the round of 32.
