Dorival Júnior celebrated prematurely during São Paulo’s match against Corinthians after a chance by Pedro Lima looked set to put the ball into an unguarded net. The coach had already turned away to celebrate and embrace his son and assistant, Lucas Silvestre, before noticing what happened next.

Pedro Lima had been played through by Bobadilla, dribbled past Hugo and shot from the edge of the area. Angileri raced back and cleared the ball almost on the goal line. The effort was low and weak on the wet pitch, giving the Argentine time to recover and send it behind for a corner.

The incident took place in the Brazilian Championship derby at Vila Belmiro on Wednesday night. Pedro Lima later lamented the missed opportunity.
