Scotland will face Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden in the next edition of the Women’s Nations League. The draw reunites Scotland with Germany and the Netherlands, whom they also met in the 2025 competition, and pairs them with Sweden ahead of a World Cup play-off against the same opponents in December.

Scotland lost 6-1 and 4-0 to Germany in 2025. Their matches against the Netherlands were closer: they were beaten 2-1 at home and drew 1-1 in Tilburg. Scotland also faced the Dutch in 2023, losing 4-0 and 1-0.

Scotland’s most recent meeting with Sweden was a friendly in Paisley in 2021, which the visitors won 2-0. Scotland were among the lowest-seeded teams in the Nations League’s A division.

The competition’s first two rounds are scheduled for 23 February to 6 March 2027, followed by rounds three and four from 13 to 24 April. The final two rounds will take place from 7 to 15 June.
