Barra have begun reshaping their squad ahead of the 2027 season, announcing on Monday that eight players are leaving the club. Alemão, Gabriel Silva, Warley, Fabian Volpi, Jean Pierre, Cleo Silva, Vavá and Marcelinho are among those departing.
The club also confirmed the end of its agreements with Vinicius Popó, Matheus Barbosa, Pablo Gabriel, Giovani Albuquerque and Lazaroni. Those five were no longer with the team.
Jean Pierre and Cleo Silva had been at Barra since 2025, while Vavá joined in 2024. All three featured in the club’s Série D title-winning campaign and its Campeonato Catarinense triumph this year. Gui Lazaroni and Warley were also part of both title-winning squads, although Warley did not play in 2025 because of an injury.
Alemão, Gabriel Silva, Fabian Volpi and Marcelinho were part of the squad that won the 2026 Campeonato Catarinense. Volpi did not make an appearance until the closing stages of the Série C season.
Cleo Silva and Vavá are heading to Confiança, while defender Éverton Alemão has agreed to join Caxias. Gabriel Silva, Gui Lazaroni, Fabian Volpi, Warley, Jean Pierre and Matheus Barbosa have not announced or completed moves to new clubs. Giovani is with Betim, Pablo Gabriel is playing for Malta’s Birkirkara, and Vinicius Popó and Marcelinho are returning from loan spells to Capivariano and Tombense, respectively.
Barra are set to compete in the Série C, Campeonato Catarinense and Copa do Brasil next season. Their place in the Copa do Brasil was secured by winning the state championship.
