André and Renato have been confirmed as the men’s champions of the 2026 Brazilian Beach Volleyball Circuit. Their title was sealed with one round remaining after they won gold at the Maceió stage in Alagoas on Sunday. The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation confirmed the result on Tuesday.
The victory was the duo’s third on the circuit this year, in their first season competing together. It is the first Brazilian championship of Renato’s career and André’s fifth national title.
André, from Espírito Santo, had previously won four times: with Evandro in 2018/19, in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons, and with George in 2022.
The women’s title remains undecided. It will be settled at the final circuit stage in Itapema, Santa Catarina, scheduled for December 2–6. Hegê and Vitória moved into the overall lead with their win in Maceió, while Verena and Thainara remain in contention.
