Vila Nova will return to action in Brazil’s Série B this Saturday, when it hosts Criciúma at 8 p.m. at the Onésio Brasileiro Alvarenga stadium. The match is another direct contest in the fight for promotion after Vila Nova’s 2-2 draw with Juventude.

Vila Nova is third with 63 points, behind leaders Novorizontino, on 67, and Juventude, on 65. Criciúma occupies fourth place with 62 points, while Fortaleza is fifth with 61.

A victory would strengthen Vila Nova’s position in third or fourth place. Those positions provide home advantage and allow the team to advance with a draw during the playoff phase, according to the competition’s current promotion race.

The final rounds also include other direct encounters among the contenders. Novorizontino will face Fortaleza in the penultimate round, while Criciúma will meet Novorizontino in the final round. Vila Nova’s last match of the phase will be away against Fortaleza.

The check-in period for season-ticket holders opened on Monday and remains available until 9 a.m. on Wednesday. General ticket sales will also begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, in person at the Vila OBA and Vila Buriti stores.

Tickets cost R$160 for the full-price ticket and R$80 for the half-price ticket in Sector A. In Sector B, prices are R$80 and R$40, respectively.

An updated facial registration on the ingressosa.com website is mandatory both to purchase a ticket and to enter the stadium. Each ticket must be registered in the name of the person whose facial profile will be used for entry.
