Sesi-Bauru will host Praia Clube on Monday at 18:30 at Arena Paulo Skaf in Bauru in the second round of the Men's Superliga. The match will be shown live on getv, and tickets can be obtained free of charge through the Meu Sesi system.

The home side opened its Superliga campaign with a 3-1 loss to Minas in a match that was turned around, leaving Sesi-Bauru without a point. Praia Clube, meanwhile, began with a 3-0 victory over São José and collected its first three points of the competition.

Sesi-Bauru enters the match after a disappointing Campeonato Paulista run in which it was eliminated in the first phase. The team recorded four wins and three losses in seven qualifying matches, totaling 12 points. Although it finished level on points with Itaquá, Bauru placed fifth on tiebreakers.

Praia Clube finished as runner-up in the Mineiro championship this season. With the third-best record in the qualifying phase, the Uberlândia-based side advanced to the knockout stage and eliminated favored Cruzeiro in the semifinal, ending Cruzeiro's streak of 16 consecutive state finals. Praia then lost to Minas in the final.

In the previous Superliga edition, the teams met twice and split the results. Sesi-Bauru finished the first phase in ninth place and did not advance to the knockout stage, while Praia Clube reached the semifinal and was eliminated by Campinas.
