Itabaiana have confirmed the signing of right-back Watson for the 2027 season, adding another player to the squad as the club rebuilds its team. The announcement follows the confirmations of coach Gabriel Teixeira and midfielder Gui Campana.
Watson, 32, played for three clubs this season: Linense, Manauara and CA Votuporanguense. He will represent Itabaiana for the first time in 2027. His previous clubs also include Floresta-CE, Vitória-ES, Portuguesa-RJ, Sampaio Corrêa, Londrina and Guarani.
Itabaiana are reshaping the squad after a difficult year that ended in relegation to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. In 2027, the club are scheduled to compete in the Campeonato Sergipano, Série D and Copa do Brasil.
