Gabriel Bortoleto has revealed the helmet he will wear at this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix. The Audi driver shared images of the design on social media, including tributes to his idol Ayrton Senna and references to his own career in motorsport.

The helmet recalls Senna’s 1991 victory at Interlagos, featuring an image of the three-time world champion on the podium. That win came despite a problem that left Senna’s McLaren without almost all its gears. The image on Bortoleto’s helmet is rendered in the style of cordel art, a traditional Brazilian form, and the design also includes an illustration of Bortoleto celebrating his 2024 Formula 2 title.

Bortoleto described the helmet as a tribute to Senna and to the resilience represented by the Brazilian’s landmark home victory. He said he was looking forward to racing in front of his country.

This will be Bortoleto’s second Formula 1 race at Interlagos. He made his debut at the circuit in 2025 but retired from both the sprint and the Grand Prix after two accidents. He heads into this weekend after finishing eighth in the previous race, the Mexican Grand Prix.
