CSA’s first announced reinforcement for the 2027 season, midfielder Juliano Fabro arrives in Alagoas after a standout campaign with Sergipe. The 27-year-old was voted the best player of the 2026 Sergipano Championship and helped his team win the state title for the first time in four years.

To assess the new signing’s qualities, TV Asa Branca’s GE team spoke with Eduardo Costa, a reporter for ge.com in Sergipe. Costa described Fabro as a classic number 10 who can create opportunities with few touches, highlighting his passing and ability from set pieces.

Fabro scored multiple free kicks for Sergipe during the 2026 state championship, according to Costa. Although his spell in Sergipe was brief, it was enough to establish him among the competition’s leading players. Wearing the number 10 shirt, he acted as the team’s creative focal point under coach William de Matia, who is also negotiating with CSA, contributing goals and assists in important matches.

Costa said Sergipe’s tactical approach was designed to maximize Fabro’s strengths. He described the midfielder as the team’s maestro and said he had a direct influence through both goals and assists.

The reporter also identified Fabro’s physical condition as an issue CSA will need to monitor. At Sergipe, the midfielder was substituted in most state championship matches because of physical concerns. However, Costa stressed that Fabro remained influential whenever he was on the field and that Sergipe’s play was heavily centered around him.

According to the assessment, Fabro’s impact at CSA will depend partly on how the coaching staff uses his creative qualities and manages his physical condition.
