The latest episode of BBC’s Football Daily looks at whether Jamie Carragher should have apologised for his comments about Aston Villa and what the incident could mean for others working in football media. The programme also considers whether Villa are being kept outside the Premier League’s “Big Six”.
James Richardson joins Mark Chapman, Rory Smith, Chris Sutton and Shay Given to discuss the Milan derby and the experience of bringing Serie A back to UK terrestrial television. The episode also asks how good Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen is and examines the data behind Sunderland’s difficult start to the season and Nottingham Forest’s campaign.
