England have been drawn against France, Austria and Portugal in Group A2 of next year’s Women’s Nations League. Each team will play the others home and away across international windows in February–March, April and June 2027. Fixture dates and venues have yet to be confirmed.

The draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland. England manager Sarina Wiegman described France as a world-class side and said facing a strong opponent would challenge and help improve her team. She also noted that England had drawn away to Portugal and won at home in their previous meetings before the last European Championship.

The competition is in its third edition and also contributes to qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games and Euro 2029. The four League A group winners will advance to the semi-finals in October 2027, followed by the final to determine the champions.

The Republic of Ireland will meet Spain, Norway and Switzerland in Group A1. Wales are in Group A3 with Denmark, Italy and Iceland, while Scotland face Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden in Group A4. Northern Ireland have been drawn in League B Group 3 with Poland, Finland and Belarus.
